Cauliflower roasted with spices


Ingredients:

1/2 of small medium Cauliflower cut into florets
2 Cardamom seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 pepper
salt

Method:

1) Grind the cardamom seeds , cumin seeds and pepper. Mix the mixture with red chilli powder and set aside

2) Boil water in a pot. Add the cauliflower and cook for about 3 mins. Turn off and remove the florets into a tea towel or tissue to drain the water. Boiling of cauliflower is mainly done to kill any germs or insects if any and also to cook it a little before roasting.

3) Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add the cauliflower and fry for 1 min. Then add the spice mixture and fry for 3-4 mins on medium-high heat.

4) Serve hot.
